In a recent statement, Eberle shared his feelings about Seattle and his desire to stay with the Kraken:
"This is one of the more favorite places I've played. I want to be a part of a winning team and have a chance to win a cup."
It's evident that he believes Seattle provides the opportunity for both.
Eberle's journey with the Seattle Kraken began when he was selected in the 2021 NHL Expansion Draft. He quickly made his mark, earning the distinction of being an alternate captain.
Notably, Eberle etched his name in Kraken history by scoring the franchise's first-ever hat trick in a memorable 5-2 victory over the Buffalo Sabres at the Climate Pledge Arena on November 4, 2021.
This accomplishment solidified his status as the ninth NHL player to achieve a natural hat trick for an expansion team during it's inaugural season. Eberle continued to shine in the playoffs, delivering a historic moment by scoring the first Stanley Cup Playoff overtime goal for the Seattle Kraken.
This clutch performance came in a thrilling 3-2 victory against the Colorado Avalanche in Game 4 of the 2023 Western Conference First Round. Eberle's contributions have been invaluable to the Kraken, leaving a lasting impact on the team's success.
