Seattle Kraken winger Oliver Bjorkstrand was unexpectedly pulled from Denmark's Olympic Qualifying Tournament game against Great Britain today. According to team radio host Mike Benton (via Twitter), Bjorkstrand's injury, sustained in a warm-up game for the tournament, is not considered serious.
However, Kraken GM Ron Francis mentioned that the injury requires further evaluation, making it unlikely Bjorkstrand will play in the remaining two games. Last season, Bjorkstrand scored 20 goals and recorded a career-high 39 assists. Despite this setback, he is expected to be ready for the Kraken's training camp.
