News broke this morning that the Kraken have completed a transaction involving OHL defenseman Ty Nelson.
Nelson's junior team has been eliminated from the playoff which is why the Kraken have decided to assign him to Coachella Valley for the AHL playoffs.
The Seattle Kraken have assigned D Ty Nelson to Coachella Valley (AHL) from North Bay (OHL).

Nelson had a strong season in the OHL and if he continues to produce in the AHL, it may force the Kraken's hand next season to take a serious look at him.
