The Seattle Kraken are reportedly eyeing Anaheim Ducks forward Trevor Zegras as a potential addition to their roster. According to David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period, the Kraken might target Zegras, a move that aligns with the team's ongoing search for a scoring forward and the Ducks' openness to trading him.
Acquiring Zegras would significantly bolster the Kraken's offensive lineup and reunite him with his good friend, Matty Beniers. Despite a challenging season where the 23-year-old played only 31 games due to a broken ankle, he managed to score six goals and tally 15 points.
Selected in the first round of the 2019 draft, Zegras is versatile, capable of playing both as a centreman and on the wing. His playmaking skills make him a valuable asset on the ice, and after a challenging season, a change of scenery could benefit the young forward.
