Kraken Announce Start to First Training Camp Under Dan Bylsma

The Seattle Kraken are gearing up for their first training camp under new head coach Dan Bylsma, set to begin on September 19, 2024. This highly anticipated camp marks a fresh chapter for the Kraken, following Bylsma's appointment as the second head coach in franchise history earlier in May.
Bylsma, a Stanley Cup-winning coach with the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2009, expressed his excitement, stating, *«It's good to get here and kind of get focused on just the Kraken»*. He brings extensive experience to the team, having led Seattle's AHL affiliate, the Coachella Valley Firebirds, to back-to-back Calder Cup finals.
The Kraken's camp will be held at the Kraken Community Iceplex, featuring a mix of veteran players and new talent. Fans can expect to see prospects such as Shane Wright and Berkly Catton, the Kraken's eighth overall draft pick, aiming to make their mark.
Training camp will also feature several public sessions, allowing fans to witness the action firsthand. As Bylsma builds team chemistry, the Kraken are aiming to improve on their previous seasons, with eyes set on their home opener on October 8 against the St. Louis Blues.
