The Kraken had a disappointing season following last year's great one, they finished 6th in the Pacific division with 81 points which was far too little in a stacked Western Conference to make the playoffs.
The positive news is that Seattle will have a chance at the first overall pick in this years draft and even if they fall short of 1st, the draft is stacked with young players that can be huge difference makers for the franchise.
