Kraken goalie Philipp Grubauer attended the "Heart of the Horse" fundraiser at Safe Harbor Stables in Redmond, Washington, this past weekend. The event, which raised over $30,000, brought together members of the local equine community to support Save a Forgotten Equine (SAFE Horses), a charity dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating abused and neglected horses.
Grubauer, who spoke at the event, sported a tan cowboy hat and boots, and graciously took selfies with attendees and organizers following the dinner. Matt Lorch, a former Seattle news anchor known for his charitable auctioneering in the Pacific Northwest, served as the event's Emcee.
