Rod Brind'Amour is no longer a contender for the position of head coach for the Seattle Kraken after it is announced that he has signed a multi year contract extension with the Carolina Hurricanes.
Although Kraken fans and sports pundits alike have been weighing in on who will occupy the top coaching spot on the team, Brind'Amour's name kept surfacing as a top contender. A few names still in the race are Coachella Valley Firebirds coach Dan Bylsma, Kraken assistant coach Jay Leach, and fired Los Angeles Kings head coach Todd McLellan.
With management yet to make a decision, all bets are up in the air as to whom will hold the coveted position.
