The Pacific Division is notorious for its extensive travel, and the Seattle Kraken will fully experience this in the 2024-25 season.

The Kraken will cover a total of 48,431 miles this season, placing them third in travel distance behind the Anaheim Ducks and the Edmonton Oilers, also from the Pacific Division.
In contrast, teams in the Metropolitan and Atlantic Divisions have much shorter travel distances. The New Jersey Devils, for instance, will travel the least, covering only 31,080 miles.
The Kraken's travel distance exceeds the league average of 40,382 miles by over 8,000 miles.
Despite each team playing every other team, the key difference lies in the locations of their road games against other divisions in their conference and the frequency of these games. For example, the Kraken will travel to Nashville and Chicago twice this season for road games instead of hosting them. These factors significantly contribute to the Kraken's high travel distance.
