The Coachella Valley firebirds have been enjoying their Western Conference final victory but as the team prepares, they do an unusual move and landed in Hershey PA to start their practice drills even though the Eastern Conference final has not been settled yet.
The Firebirds were seen practising at the Hershey park arena which the Bears were practicing earlier this morning. This unusual tactic maybe do too the team feeling that Hershey will be the team that wins the series but it's certainly not etched in stone as the Cleveland monsters could mount a comeback and take the series in Game 7.
In the meantime, the Firebirds get a chance to continue acclimate to the Eastern Time zone while they wait for their opponent and get some much-needed practice time as they get set for the Calder cup final. They took the Western Conference finals in five games against Milwaukee Admirals.
