While Kaliyev did receive a 2-minute penalty for kneeing during the game, the Department of Player Safety has now imposed a more significant suspension.

Arthur Kaliyev's suspension breaks down to two preseason games and two regular season games, making it the first disciplinary action taken by the NHL Department of Player Safety for the season.
