Kraken's 2024 NHL Draft Selections
The Seattle Kraken continued their 2024 NHL Draft starting with the second round on Saturday. Just like in the first round, they focused on local talent from the Western Hockey League (WHL). Rounds 2 through 7 wrapped up the draft, and here's a summary of Seattle's picks, including their first-round choice.
Round 1
Eighth overall: Berkly Catton, C
Seattle selected Berkly Catton from the WHL's Spokane Chiefs. The 18-year-old center tallied 54 goals and 62 assists last season. The 5'10", 170-pounder was the WHL Rookie of the Year in 2022-23.

40th overall: Julius Miettinen, C
