The Seattle Kraken may be without 28-year-old John Hayden for an unknown amount of time. Which unfortunately for him depletes his chances of earning an NHL roster spot.
During Kraken practice today, Hayden went down, and a trainer was quick to come out, well hobbling off the ice. Hayden was clearly upset as he slammed his stick numerous times well before heading to the bench.
Seattle Kraken head coach Dave Hakstol spoke to the media and said that Hayden was not available for the rest of practice, and he is uncertain about his status.
Where things stand right now, fans are left without full clarity on John Hayden and his injury. Dave Hakstol said he truly doesn't know if Hayden will be available for tomorrow's game.
"We'll see where he's at later in this afternoon." Dave told the media.
