Thursday night's game between the Nashville Predators and Seattle Kraken could be a game where the special teams are an x-factor.
Seattle's special teams have been playing more efficiently as of late, with the power play beginning to click and the penalty kill, despite dropping in percent, has had less work with the team staying out of the box.
Nashville comes into this outing tied with the Ottawa Senators for the 13th best power play in the league, running at 21.1%.
Seattle's power play has scored in three of the last four games, improving their percentage to 25.0%, tying them with the Carolina Hurricanes for 8th in the NHL.

Despite being 5th in the NHL for the least amount of penalties taken, Seattle has faced some potent power play units, resulting in them having the 17th best penalty kill at 76.9%.
However, Nashville's PK unit has struggled to say the least.
The Predators are 30th in the NHL with a 69.0% penalty kill percentage.
Both teams rank in the top-10 for least amount of penalties taken, though Seattle has a big opportunity to take advantage of a weak PK unit if the calls go their way.
