The Seattle Kraken look to bounce back after an overtime loss to the Carolina Hurricanes on Thursday night. Their opponent tonight will be the Florida Panthers who are 3-3 on the year and playing in one of the NHL's toughest divisions. Starting for the third straight game will be Joey Daccord, who quickly looks to be chasing that starting role for Seattle. Daccord was outstanding against Carolina with 42 saves on 45 shots, setting a Kraken franchise record for most saves in a game. With a 2-0-2 record on the year, Daccord looks to add another as he and the Kraken try to climb the Pacific division standings. Starting for the Florida Panthers will be veteran netminder Sergei Bobrovsky. The 35 year old is 2-3 on the season with a .899 save percentage, though only two of his five games saw him save under 90% of shots. Bobrovsky is playing behind a defense missing its top two players, but is still 14th in the league in terms of goals against per game. If Daccord can keep up the way he's been playing, this could be a low scoring game for Seattle.
