The Seattle Kraken have started their training camp cuts this week, and are continuing today.
The Kraken announced earlier today that they have cut defenseman Ty Nelson and sent him back down to the North Bay Battalion of the OHL.
Ty Nelson, 19, was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2022 NHL Entry Draft. Nelson is currently unsigned by the team. He had 24 goals and 52 assists, tallying up to 76 points in 67 games last season with the Battalion.
Ty has a lot of potential and the Kraken hope to take advantage of it in the future.
