Chris Brumwell was let go as a Vancouver Canucks VP two years ago but has now been hired by the Seattle Kraken as the new senior vice president of broadcast and media relations.
Longtime #Canucks VP lands new job with Seattle Kraken 👀
It must have been crushing to be let go after nine years with the Canucks, but the veteran VP is now joining another former Canucks executive, Victor de Bonis, who currently serves as the Kraken's president and alternate governor.
Brumwell has a wealth of knowledge having been the Canucks' director of media relations from 1996 to 2005 and head of media relations for VANOC a precursor to the 2010 Olympic winter games. Vancouver's loss is clearly Seattle's gain.
