In a recent interview with The Hockey News, Kraken forward Jaden Schwartz spoke of why he believes Seattle struggled this past season following a great 2nd year.
Schwartz said that he thinks teams may have taken the Kraken lightly in their second season after having a bad first year in the league which it seems the Kraken took advantage of. The forward claimed that this season opposing teams showed up with their "A" game which is why some of the things the team was doing the previous year was no longer enough to win games.
Teams the Kraken faced bringing their "A" games might be a reason most of the same Seattle players, doing most of the same things, didn't achieve the same results.- Dreyfuss
Hopefully the Kraken learn from their mistakes and show up to play every single game next season in hopes of another playoff appearance.
