Katie Gaudreau shares heartfelt tribute to her late brothers

Katie Gaudreau, sister of Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau, shared a heartfelt tribute to her late brothers four days after their tragic deaths, which led to her wedding being canceled.

"To know these two was to love them," Katie wrote in an emotional Instagram post on Monday.

She expressed the deep bond her family shared, saying, "There would never have been a John without Matty or Matty without John. The best big brothers a girl could ask for."

Katie also promised to take care of their parents, sister, wives, and children. Her post included a slideshow of family photos.

Johnny, 31, and Matthew, 29, were killed by a suspected drunk driver while biking in New Jersey. The driver, Sean M. Higgins, was charged with vehicular homicide after reportedly admitting to drinking before the crash.

Johnny had a wife Meredith, and their two children. Matthew was expecting his first child with his wife Madeline. A GoFundMe page has raised $500,000 for Madeline and their unborn son, Tripp.
