Kraken prospect has been lighting it up in WHL this season and is making a serious case as to why he should be in Seattle next season.
Firkus scored a hat trick last night in WHL playoffs for the Moose Jaw Warriors and has continued his incredible season, proving he has gotten too good for juniors.
Seattle 2nd round draft pick in 2022 has been dominating the WHL this season as he finished as the top scorer in the entire league as a 19 year-old with 126 points in only 63 games which is an average on 2 points per game.
The Kraken have a team full of young players and with Firkus being too good for junior it may be time to bring him up. There is no point in the 19 year-old playing his last season of junior hockey as he is too dominant and will not continue to grow.
If Seattle decides to keep Firkus in the NHL next season, he will be able to grow with young player such as Berniers and Wright while veterans like Jordan Eberle can guide him.
