The 21 year-old forward had a bit of a drop off in production this season posting 37 points in 77 games after a career year last season with 57 points in 80 games. Berniers may have had a slow year but is still very young and has proved he can be a scorer in the NHL.
Kraken veteran Eberle just signed a two year deal at the deadline with an average of $4.75 million per year. The 33 year-old proved once again this season that he is still an offensive threat as he put up 44 points in 77 games for the Kraken this season.
Seattle may have had a disappointing season but it is clear that the future is bright for this young franchise.
