Jets forward Nikolaj Ehlers is headed into the last year of his contract and it looks like his time in Winnipeg might be coming to an end.
If the Jets do decide to move on from Ehlers, a solid landing spot might be Seattle as the left winger could be a great top 6 winger. The 28 year- old has a $6 million cap hit next year which wouldn't be a problem for the Kraken as they have plenty of cap space.
I see Seattle Kraken in his future.
Ehlers had a very productive season in Winnipeg as he fell just 3 points short of his career high finishing the season with 61 points in 82 games.
Landing Ehlers would be great for the Kraken as they are looking to bring some more scoring to the lineup after this slower past season and maybe he is part of the solution.
