Seattle Kraken defenseman Justin Schultz hit an impressive career milestone on Monday against the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Schultz recorded his 300th career NHL point with an assist on Brian Dumoulin's first goal as a member of the Kraken.
The 33 year old Schultz was drafted 43rd overall in the second of the 2008 NHL draft by the Anaheim Ducks.
However, Schultz never played a game for the Ducks, and played the first four seasons of his career as an Edmonton Oiler.
Schultz was traded in the 2015-16 season to the Pittsburgh Penguins, where he would go on to win two Stanley Cups in his five seasons with the Penguins.
After a couple of seasons in Washington, Schultz signed in Seattle in the summer of 2022.
Seattle got solid secondary scoring out of Schultz in his first year, totaling 34 points in 70 games.
This year, Schultz is playing on the team's third defensive pair with his former Penguins teammate Brian Dumoulin.
