Kraken forward Andre Burakovsky underwent successful surgery to repair an upper-body injury that will keep him out 6-8 weeks.

Burakovsky left Saturday's game after a hit from Rangers captain Jacob Trouba which resulted in the Kraken forward falling awkwardly into the boards.
In six games played this season, Burakovsky tallied two assists and is a minus two on the year.
Burakovsky missed significant time last season for the Kraken, being limited to only 49 games where he had 13 goals and 39 points.
The 2021-22 season saw Burakovsky play the most amount of games in a single season with 80 when he was a member of the Colorado Avalanche. There have been two other seasons where he has eclipsed 70 games.
The Kraken have struggled to find consistency on offense to start this season, and Burakovsky being out is a major hit to the Kraken's forward group.
