The Seattle Kraken saw arguably their best offensive performance from their blue line on Monday against Tampa. Three of their six defensemen registered a point in Monday's game, with one being a goal and one a primary assist on the game winner. Brian Dumoulin opened the scoring for Seattle in the first period which was assisted by Justin Schultz. The bottom pair of Dumoulin and Schultz has been effective lately at creating chances and got rewarded for it. Vince Dunn would continue his underrated season by passing the puck to Jared McCann in overtime to assist on the game winning goal. This assist ties Dunn with the team lead in points with Schwartz and Bjorkstrand, all with 8 points.

While not every defenseman registered a point, four of the six all recorded two or more shots on goal. Dunn led the blue line with three shots on goal, while Borgen, Dumoulin, and Schultz all had two. The only defensemen without any shots on net were Adam Larsson and Jamie Oleksiak, who combined for three hits.
