Kraken vs. Carolina Thursday night will mark the second and final meeting between the Seattle Kraken and Carolina Hurricanes this season. Seattle is coming off of a major overtime win over the Detroit Red Wings on Tuesday night where Jordan Eberle got his first goal of the season. After Tuesday's matchup, Seattle improved their record to 2-4-1. The first time these two teams met on October 19th, where Seattle had their best offensive showing of the year with 7 goals. Carolina is coming into Thursday's matchup with a 3-4-0 record. Each team is not near the top of the league in goals against, with Seattle being tied for 29th and Carolina sitting dead last at 32nd. The Hurricanes will also be without an important piece of their blueline with Brett Pesce being out with an injury for at least two weeks. After getting back into the win column on Tuesday night, Seattle will look to add another as their road trip continues.
