The Seattle Kraken have not had the start to the season they hoped for, especially after how much success the team had last year.
With 21 goals against, the Kraken are tied with the Winnipeg Jets and Minnesota Wild for 29th in the league in terms of the stat.
For the Kraken, putting the puck in the net has been just as much of an issue as keeping it out of the net.
Seattle has scored 11 goals this season, putting them 28th in the league.

According to NHL Edge, Seattle is in the 78th percentile for shots on goal with 180 taken, the league average being 156.
While they are shooting the puck, those shots just aren't going in. Despite a seven-goal performance against the Hurricanes (32nd in goals against), only four goals have been scored in the other five games.
Both the goals for and team shooting percentage fall below league average. A 6.1% shooting percentage puts the Kraken 3.8% behind the league average and well below the 50th percentile.
With Seattle shooting the puck as much as they do, it's reasonable to believe the goals will start coming soon.
