The Seattle Kraken, who played the last two seasons without a captain are going to stick with it. Head coach Dave Hakstol confirmed today that there will be no change in their current leadership structure.

This means that the team will carry on with the same group of assistant captains into the upcoming year.
Jordan Eberle, Jaden Schwartz, Adam Larsson, and Yanni Gourde will continue to play pivotal leadership roles for the Kraken.
As of now, the Seattle Kraken are among the six NHL teams that have not designated a captain for the 2023-24 season.
While there has been speculation about potentially naming a home-grown captain like Matty Beniers, who, at 20, might not be quite ready for the role, the team seems content without a designated captain, at least for the time being.
The Kraken's decision to stick with assistant captains worked well for them last season, and they appear poised to continue down that path in the upcoming season.
