Karson Kuhlman Signs with Finland's Lukko
Former Seattle Kraken winger Karson Kuhlman has signed with Lukko of Liiga, Finland's top professional league.
The 28-year-old played parts of the 2021-22 and 2022-23 seasons with the Kraken, scoring three goals and 11 points in 39 games. Last year, he was with the Bridgeport Islanders, the New York Islanders' AHL affiliate.
The Boston Bruins initially signed Kuhlman to an entry-level contract after he completed four years at the University of Minnesota-Duluth, where he captained the team to a National Championship in his final year. Despite showing potential as a bottom-six winger, Kuhlman struggled to maintain consistency in the NHL.
