Every year, he athletic has the annual broadcasting rankings which are voted by NHL fans and the Seattle Kraken broadcasting was voted 2nd in the entire NHL.

The broadcasting team features former NHLer Eddie Olcyzk along with John Forslund, JT Brown, Alison LuKan and Eddie's son Nick Olcyzk who continue giving the fans a great experience.
Forslund has been a broadcaster since 1984 and has worked with several teams including the former Hartford whalers, the Carolina Hurricanes add NBC Sports. He then found his way to the West Coast and began to work with Roots Sports Northwest and became the play-by-play announcer for the Kraken.
Eddie Olczyck was drafted in 1984 by the Chicago Blackhawks, first round third pick overall. Throughout his career, he had played for seven NHL organizations including two stints with the Blackhawks.
Always a star, he played 1031 games, scoring 342 goals with 452 assists for 794 points. In his retirement he became part of the broadcasting team of the Blackhawks to which he then moved to the northwest and began to work with the Kraken.
Many fans hope the team will have a bounce back season with general manager Ron Francis adding some pieces to help complement the players he already has. One thing is certain, the Kraken have a great broadcasting team that would deliver great content for the fanbase as the new season approaches in October.
