The Seattle Kraken have signed 26-year-old forward Brandon Biro to a one-year, two-way contract, the team announced on Monday. The deal carries a cap hit of $775,000 for the upcoming season.

Biro, a native of Sherwood Park, Alberta, spent most of the 2023-2024 season with the Rochester Americans, the AHL affiliate of the Buffalo Sabres. In his fourth year with Rochester, and his first as an alternate captain, Biro scored 16 goals and 27 assists for 43 points in 59 games. He also played five games for the Sabres, recording two goals.
Before joining the Sabres organization at the end of the 2020-2021 season, Biro played four years of NCAA hockey at Penn State University. He served as team captain in his senior year and amassed 116 points in 138 games during his collegiate career.
