It's an exciting time in the Coachella Valley where the Firebirds are one win away from the Calder Cup Final.
The Firebirds are looking to clinch and punch their ticket to the Calder cup final as they hold a 3-0 commanding lead over the Milwaukee Admirals. A win tonight would mark their tenth straight win and their second Calder cup berth in two seasons.
It seems that Firebirds are on a collision course with the Hershey Bears who are the team they met last season in the finals. Unfortunately for the Firebirds they did not win that series and the bears took the cup in seven games. It was a great season for the firebirds as they won the Pacific division with a record of 46-15-6-5 and also had the most goals for in the league at 252.
Going into tonight's game, Firebirds forward Devin Shore is leading the team with 10 points and the firebirds hope he can continue to lead the team. It's certainly exciting times for the Seattle organization as they have been consistently in the playoffs and the Calder cup chase which is a good indication that the Kraken will have many prospects to work with in the coming years.
Game Update : The Firebirds lost Game 4 by a score of 7-2 and Game 5 will continue at Panther Arena for Game 5 and puck drop will be 5:00pm PST.
