Kraken Prospect Hits Milestone

Playing for the North Bay Battalion of the OHL, Nelson currently has 9 points in 12 games. And has recently reached his 100th career assist in junior hockey.

The offensive defenseman has been a point producing machine throughout his entire junior hockey career.

In his first full season in North Bay, Nelson tallied 51 points in 66 games, following that up with 76 points in 67 games last season.

Nelson was drafted 68th overall in the third round of the 2022 NHL entry draft by the Kraken, and looks to turn pro after this season.

Nelson is also closing in on another milestone, as one more assist will tie the Battalion franchise record.
